1 lb boudin sausage, cooked, casings removed, and crumbled

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup chopped green onions 

1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper 

1/4 cup finely chopped celery

1/4 cup finely chopped parsley

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon Foodie Tasting Room Cajun Seasoning

1/4 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 

drizzle Foodie Tasting Room Zesty Onion EVOO

salt and black pepper

French bread, sliced

The steps to follow |

Preheat your oven to 350°F.


Remove the casings from the boudin sausage and crumble it into a skillet over medium heat. Cook until the sausage is browned and heated through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat and set aside.


In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well blended.


Mix in the chopped green onions, bell pepper, celery, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir until evenly combined.


Fold the cooked boudin sausage into the dip mixture until well distributed.


Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.


Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly, and the top is slightly golden.


Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with the reserved chopped green onions and parsley, if desired.


Serve with warm slices of toasted bread for dipping.
