Thanksgiving Leftovers Shepherd’s Pie

  • 2 cups leftover turkey, shredded or diced
  • 1 ½ cups leftover mixed vegetables 
  • 1 ½ cups leftover gravy 
  • 2 cups leftover stuffing
  • 2 cups leftover mashed potatoes
  • ½ cup shredded cheese 

The steps to follow |

Heat oven to 375°F. 

In a large baking dish, spread the turkey evenly along the bottom.  Add the mixed vegetables on top of the turkey, followed by the gravy, spreading it evenly to cover the filling.   

Crumble the stuffing on top to create a textured layer.  Finally, spread the mashed potatoes over the stuffing, using a spoon or spatula to smooth the surface. 

Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the mashed potatoes for a golden, melty finish. 

Place the dish in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is hot and bubbly.
