1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup half and half
1 large egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon Foodie Tasting Room vanilla extract
The steps to follow |
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then mix in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract if using.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. It’s okay if there are a few lumps.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Spread it out slightly with the back of the measuring cup if needed.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges start to look set, about 2-3 minutes.
Flip the pancake and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve the pancakes warm with Steens Syrup!
